Drop-in and Outreach
Our Community Drop-In Centre offers a space where men and women are welcomed, offered a listening ear and given a place to feel part of the Our Place family.
They can use our computer facilities to apply for jobs and are welcome to take books out of our library. The Community Centre is a living room for a community of the marginalized, an extended family for people of little means – the homeless, the working poor, pensioners living in poverty, people with mental and physical disabilities, and addictions. For many, home is a park bench or just a tiny room, so the Community Centre serves as a place to socialize and connect with the community.

Mail and Messaging Centre
For people who may not have a fixed address, a phone, or any way to stay in touch, we offer a mail and messaging service. We receive mail for over 400 people and are able to take phone messages for all of our family members. We also offer a phone and fax machine for people to use for outgoing calls.
Referrals
Even when someone desperately wants to break free of their addictions, the many steps often make it feel virtually impossible. At Our Place, we will help every inch of the way, easing the confusion or pain of the process in any way we can. From doctors’ appointments, applications to detox and treatment facilities, and help finding housing after the program, our staff is here to assist people get the help they want as soon as they are ready for it.

Safe Storage
Dry and secure storage for personal belongings of people affected by homelessness.
Wellness Services
At Our Place we are concerned about caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. We offer a variety of Wellness Services that include medical, health, spiritual care, senior supports, social and recreation activities, and other services.
Meals
Free meals served daily, 365 days per year, three meals per day at Our Place.
