Our Place Society has transformed our signature fundraising gala “Hungry Hearts” into a virtual event that will be held on September 12th. Donations can be made today or during the event using the form at the bottom of this page. Thank you for your support.

Please mark your calendars to attend the virtual version of the 2020 Hungry Hearts Gala on Saturday, September 12 at 5:00 p.m. It will be an opportunity for our community to: 

a) help more struggling people facing this triple pandemic of health, economy and overdose concerns;
b) honour event sponsors and donors; 
c) support the local food industry in Greater Victoria that is suffering greatly during this crisis.

Proceeds from this year’s event will support health and wellness initiatives at Our Place’s various locations: frontline paramedics; medical supplies; extended hours to bring people in from the cold; for evening meals and snacks; showers; clothing and shelter access; and help  accessing other resources for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
