Our Place has articulated a vision statement that, we believe, reflects our overarching goal for our volunteer program.
Each and every volunteer will enjoy a positive, a rewarding and, most of all, a fun volunteer experience. Volunteers will feel that they are truly part of something very special and that they are recognized as valued members of the Our Place family.
Our Place strives to align a volunteer’s goals and aspirations for a fulfilling volunteer experience with our mission, vision, values and guiding principles. Volunteers should clearly understand how the work they perform for Our Place supports and, in no small way, achieves our strategic priorities and goals.
Whether an employee or a volunteer, we are all equal partners in the work we perform in service to our family members. If we are to be truly effective in living out our mission, vision, values and guiding principles, we must work together as one team, and volunteers must always be made to feel that they are valued members of this team.
